"Let's Talk" campaign to raise awareness about mental health

On World Mental Health Day, Alaraby TV, in cooperation with the United Nations "Verified" campaign, launched the "Let's Talk" campaign on mental health.

This campaign seeks to share awareness of the importance of mental health, encourage people to talk about their fears and psychological disorders, and highlight the importance of talking to psychologists when needed.

The "Let's Talk" campaign comes amid heavy consequences that the Corona pandemic has had on the psychological state of individuals around the world. The World Health Organization has noted that the pandemic "has had a devastating impact on people's mental health in all countries. It has particularly affected some groups, including health workers and other frontline workers, students, people living alone, and those with pre-existing mental health conditions."

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has indicated that the Covid-19 pandemic has had a terrible impact on people's mental health worldwide. He stressed the need to address the pandemic's stark inequalities, including unequal access to mental health services.

The year-long "Let's Talk" campaign includes interviews with specialists, awareness videos and interactive reports that encourage talking about the psychological state, focus on sharing awareness, and highlight positive stories that inspire and motivate others.
